more suitable pickup for a custom build

Hey guys,

so, here is the deal. Me and my luthier we finally finished my guitar. At last we went with the following wood combo:

7string, 25 1/2 scale
body: honduran mahogany, wenge top
neck: bolt on - rosewood/ebony plated
fingerboard: ebony

I had been advised to go with painkiller (which are currently loaded in). But the thing is that the guitar on its own plays on upper mids and its got a lot of heights (not too harsh though) sounds like a djenty LP custom where you'd pronounce the trebles a bit. cant think of a better description.
I am searching for something that would tame the presence and that would put a little more low/mid growl into the sound.

anyway here is the pic of the guitar, in real life it looks like 2 times better, the picture itself is not that great and has weird light.

hey guys, thanks.. from what I know the miracle man is something like a passive emg81. To me the 81 is a high output thin sounding fizzy pickup with a lot of trebles, so I am not sure if that would be a good way to go. I am searching for something like a DiMarzio Norton tone wise, but in 7 string option of course.

the miracle man is VERY thick, clean, not fizzy at all and has some smooth leads

then you want something alnico and medium hot
the neck version of the miracle man has a similar voicing to the norton, but it's much hotter, more like a tone zone

Nailbomb, perhaps? Miracle man is not a bad call - but this can be quite different in different guitars, tending to accentuate the character of the wood quite a lot (though not universally true). I love the MM, and in my basswood ibanez, it's dark and growly, and not all that smooth, which I like.

Or just stick a warpig in it and have done :)
