71 deluxe with VH11's.

Heres my 71 Deluxe with Zebra VH11's. I fitted them today,the guitar sounds great.Thanks Tim for the 1st class service.

That's nice.

Doesn't the Deluxe come with mini humbuckers?  Was it a pain to change?

Best LP I've ever played was a beaten up Deluxe - sounded amazing, possibly the best guitar I've ever played actually...

It sounds fantastic.It came already routed with burstbuckers. At some point I will fit P90's and Goof hiders.Its not that heavey and is resonant.Its also very comfortable,the neck in particular after forty years of being played.The VH11's are quite bright,it has a bit of a P90 vibe to it,but with more drive.
