The DAM Meathead is a silicon transistor Fuzz Face afaik - sounds good from what I've heard, but don't pay a fortune for one.

I've a D*A*M Meathead that I love to bits. I have a Fuzz Factory too but the Meathead blows it out the water.

i can't seem to justify the price for something I'm gonna rip apart and stick in a guitar anyways  :P

Mine was cheaper than my Fuzz Factory, brand new straight from D*A*M. £100, admittedly two years ago.

Not quite - http://www.vintageandrareguitars.com/web/Our-Catalogue/Effects/D*A*M-Stompboxes

They're not cheap but then again not much is.  I own 2 DAM pedals and wouldn't part with either of them.
