Saw Aussie Pink Floyd last night in Nuremberg.........
« on: March 08, 2008, 10:27:25 AM »
and they were awesome!! The sound was fantastic, they played all the hits, and the laser show and lights were most impressive.
They even included the giant pig and an enormous, inflatable kangaroo!!
And what a tone from the guitars. Big, thick, enormous tone. Most impressive during Comfortably Numb, where he always seemed to be on the edge of feedback but controlled it so well. Great job.
They did a powerful rendition of Mother and Wish You Were Here, and even played some of the more obscure tracks off of The Wall and DSOTM that I wasn't expecting.
Great show and highly recommended. They do it all in their own style and for those that were never fortunate enough to catch a Pink Floyd show, this is the next best thing!!  :D

i'm sure they're 'better'. when i saw floyd last time in wembley it was so big a gig it was a farce.
a few thousand seats is max for me, after that your better off at home
                                       listening on your hifi.
at least with these guys you have a taste of floyd playing a smaller venue.(i assume
                                       it wasn't a stadium)
