no pictures yet, i'll put some up later, but i feel i must post. just received a prewired strat pickguard from the guys.

the wiring job on its absolutely immaculate!! High quality materials used throughout too :) I would have knocked one up myself, but I figured this way I didn't need to order the bits and wait for them to come etc etc.

looking the guard which just came - it was the right decision.

I ordered my first set on a guard. They even wired it how I wanted at no extra charge (and I received it two days after the order!).

Looks pretty good! Which pickups you got there? I see there's a baseplate on the bridge too :)

I'm wanting to get my strat build finished-- the one thing i'm looking forward to is wiring the pickguard up, a great opportunity to be really neat, even though no one see's it afterwards!

So what are the pickups then? I'm suspecting Sultans, unless there's some ongoing project that has passed me by...

I love that.  Have always loved a Strat with a white pick-guard and black pickups, knobs and switches.  The innards all look first rate too.  Very cool indeed.  What Strat is it going in?

congrats gwem, it echoes exactly my thoughts when i recieved my IT'ed pre wired guard, immaculately soldered;
                          it wouldn't have even made economic sense to do it myself and if it had, it would still have been
                          a poor second to the job the bkp boys did. for strats pre-wired guards are a no - brainer.period.
