In need pick-up recommendations
« on: December 13, 2010, 12:00:33 AM »
I have recently purchased a Fender Classic Player Baja Telecaster but I have found that when I've used it on a high gain setting live it makes a lot of unwanted feedback which I have found to be a problem in quite a few Telecasters I have tried in the past, so I thought it'd be best to come here for some help finding the right pick-ups for it.

I am pretty much looking for a Telecaster bridge and neck pick-up which can handle the usual high gain hardcore/metal tone without having to get humbuckers, I've had a look around the Bare Knuckle online shop but I don't really know a whole lot about pick-ups, so if anybody can help me finding some pick-ups which would fit my vague requirements it would really be appreciated :)

Welcome here! This sounds like Piledrivers. Great for highgain but will clean up nice with the vol.knob turned back. There are clips in the playerssection.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.
