I play a MXG Customstrat (by Patrick Eggle) with a swampash body, maple neck, ebony fretboard. Loaded with a Crawler and two IT's. Great combo. Crawler fattens up your strat in a creamy vintage style tone, say a PAF on steroids for blues to classic and hardrock. Sounds great clean and splits wonderful with the IT. However, a friend of mine installed a Mule/Mother's Milk HSS-set in his Squier-strat and he is very pleased. The MM's are a tad mellower than the IT's. The IT's handle overdrive/distortion very well en crunch wonderful.
