Pickups for my les paul
« on: January 27, 2011, 01:29:19 PM »
Hello!
my rig is Krank re jr pro 20W and Tokai loverock 95ls.
From what ive heared, even vintage pups can sound great in brutal metal riffin and lead.
I play mostly metal rock and blues.
I love the sound of gary moore,ac dc, paul gilbert, slash, and I play a lot between the buried and me(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13wM7Iqdzb8)
I am looking for pick ups which would sound great in blues and rock,  but also will sound brutal in metal and heavy riffing.
I have been thinking about the riff raff, or the nail bomb.
I really love the nailbomb in metal though.
I'd love if youll help me chose because its a very tough decision for me to chose pups without hearing them on my guitar first.

NB's sound very versatile too me. Good cleans and agressive, but beefy with drive.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.
