I cant get a good sound at all and my playing has gone to absolute cr@p  as has my song writing :(

Hopefully when i get my amp sorted things will change

nah, the intro sounds great and after that it's the drums that are the problem, too busy imo, like most metal drumming.

ive just been listening back to this and have now remembered why i stopped using midi loops :) theyre terrible
