theres clear differences in tone, but I guess differences in picking technique may be making a differences too. I hear B as being a little more dull.

B does sound duller.
slight picking difference, shape, thickness, all makes a difference I think. The Bone pick does sound good in comparison but I think its worth mentioning this isn't just a test of materials, its a test of different designs (thickness, tip shape etc) if that makes sense. I have to admit I prefer the bone to the fender pleck. sounds like all you guys might have got onto a winner for yourselves.

I absolutely love them! They are very high efficiency, which is necessary for my dual 2W amps. They are also large, so if you're thinking about getting some, make sure they will fit; mine almost didn't fit into my 2x12 due to the magnet size.

Tonally, they are VERY nice ... unlike most loudspeakers, they retain their low frequency push even at low volumes. (I'm guessing this is due to their high efficiency, but that is just a guess) They have a slight midrange boost, but otherwise are quite 'hifi' sounding.

For hard rock, I'm hard pressed to think of anything that competes aside from the Ragin Cajun.

where the picks the same thickness? - it's typical for harder and thicker picks to sound different to softer thinner picks.

you can quite clearly hear that the bone pick adds clarity to the attack - might be worth trying if they weren't all so damn thick (I'm used to playing 0.88mm nylon picks).
