Ah ok.. well i might just go for the Brushed Nickel covers then. They also look awesome. Fingers crossed they match the finish on the guitar, im ordering it tomorrow :) And choosing the combination you put up for me, so thanks! :)

Can you get them with black polepieces? That would be freaking awesome! Would you have to change them afterwards or can you get them delivered with these?

Yep, just specify black allen bolt polepieces as an additional comment when you order :)

Nolly played all the BKP's for the clips and he knows what he's talking about. Besides that, I think too many people think you can't play metal with vintagehot-pu's. If you have a highgainamp don't worry, even Mules get you there.

I can't tell you how much I agree. Today I was working on dialing a good all-around progressive metal tone with my C-Pig and I had to turn the gain down well below halfway. It's around 1/3 of full right now, give or take (with emphasis on 'take'). I'm very much considering going the vintage-hot route with my next set.

I've ordered the guitar now, with the Rebel Yell Bridge and VHII neck, covered with brushed nickel and black allen bolt polepieces :)

Expecting to see the guitar arrive in around a week, will post pictures! :)

Thanks, and i agree i think it looks smashing!

I will give it ago next week, with and without band and let you guys know what i think of the BKP combo.

But one thing i can say is that the seller gave it a try before packing it down again for shipping (to me). And he said, as a BKP dealer, that he loved the combo and would have to get it for his next guitar :)
