NPD for Les Paul
« on: May 03, 2011, 08:13:49 PM »
a set of Cold Sweats came up locally and I couldn't pass them up - loved the CS bridge last time I had one in my LP, but never got to try the neck.

here's a picture for those 'pics or it didn't happen' guys...

LORD HAVE MERCY!!!!

Just tried the Cold Sweats in anger - the neck is awesome, thick, yet detailed (a new one on me for neck humbuckers).  The bridge just makes me want to break out 80s rock riffs, but if you EQ it right you can still do classic rock.

Youtube clips imminent.

 8) :D - exactly my thoughts! The name for that pickup is more than appropriate.

Cheers Stephan

I've been really tempted to put a pair of Cold Sweats in my Les Paul Custom, on paper it seems to be exactly what I want.

I'm just worried it will be too "metal" for what I play...

Congrats on the pickups!

its definitely not METAL, its a rock pickup for sure, you can still bash out open chords.
