Bridge A-WP and a neck pig90 (humbucker size)
« on: April 20, 2011, 09:43:17 AM »
Hello, Bk forum, first time poster here.

Im getting a les paul (not gibson) with a mahogany body with a maple top, mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard.
I know for the fact that the pickups are pretty shitety, so I started looking for replacements and decided that BK pickups are awsome and I want some.

I play alot of doom/stoner/sludge stuff, think mastodon/high on fire/sleep/electric wizard/baroness. What im thinking of is getting a Alnico warpig in the bridge and for versatility getting a pig90 in humbucker size in the neck.

Would this suit my needs?

I was alittle worried because people have said that the pig90 is not so good as a neck pickup, but then I remembered that if I order them together they will be calibrated correctly.
