There have been three recent SG models with the silverburst finish - a 2007 limited edition "Guitar of the Week" with the normal rounded SG neck and Grovers, a Robot model (which can be spotted by the single ply black scratchplate), and the one above with a slim taper '60s neck and Kluson tuners.

I wish I'd bought the GOTW one when it was available!

without the jonas brothers logo and signatures, this would be pretty cool.  why is this not in general production?

I bought this guitar a year ago or so when it had an ebony board   :D It plays and looks awesome

The ebony board is certainly some consolation for the lack of binding!  :D
