I was hoping to hear some opinions on the following setup. From what I heard in the stock sound clips,
I'm thinking about a painkiller/sinner/sinner set up for my HSS strat I have coming in soon. Does anyone have any examples/opinions of the sound this might produce? I'm mostly playing metal, looking for punch and definition, but not total sterility. (I know the sterility comes more with active PUPs, but I thought I'd throw that in there).
My biggest influences as far as tone go are Richard Z. Kruspe and Tony Iommi. Two very different guitarists with different styles, and one using active pickups and the other using passive. I would like a setup that allows me to get a decent (or ideally, great) tone for both.
BKP has really caught my attention, both in sound and in the quality of the workmanship. So all this being said, what are some opinions from the BKP community?
