I'll not be much help in this thread as I don't know enough about wireless systems...but seriously, does using a cable really bother you enough to drop £150 on the novelty of getting rid of it?

I'd understand if you have money to burn, or are sponsored by one of the companies that makes wireless systems...but...really?

I wouldn't risk compromising the sound of my equipment just so I could be more flamboyant on stage. Happy using a cable :)

I do all the sound (FOH and monitors) for my band as well as playing, so when we're sound checking I keep having to go out from with a cable dragging behind me, then over to the mixing desk - all over really and it does get tiresome.  Having a wireless will free me up on this level and also let me do cheezy things like doing the odd solo out in the bar, rather than on stage

I don't have money to burn either, this is a considered purchase for me - as all things are.  It will earn it's keep and make my life easier at gigs.

Now, this I had not considered. Point well made !

Epiphone Les Paul Black Beauty > Cold Sweat + Mississippi Queen + Riff Raff

CL Aurora Super Strat > Calibrated Holy Divers with coil tap.
