Piledriver for a Tele?

Ok, so I want to get away from that really biting Tele twang, but not completely.

Will the piledriver give me a really good "bluesy break-up" or will it just be tele twang but louder?

I use a Cornell Romany, and vintage Gibson GA9 Amp, with a Klon Centaur and vintage Schaller fuzz pedal.

The Piledriver certainly sounds like a Tele but it has some serious balls to the tone, there's much more muscle in the bass and lower mid.If you're used to playing humbuckers and picked up a Piledriver loaded Tele you wouldn't find it lacking :D
