Played a gig last night and used my maple board strat with newly fitted slowhands.

I would normally use a Les Paul for the full gig but I used the strat.
Tone and power were superb. I do a wah wah solo which cut through superbly without any brittleness.

Thanks for giving my old strat a new lease of life.

Another superb BKP product to boast about.

I tried to convince my mate about BKP Humbuckers, but he opted for SD seth lovers, which are not bad pickups. Just not as good as my own BKPs.

If I get a strat I'll probably get sultans. Do they really nail the lead sound of Sultans of Swing thru a nice clean amp?

Whoops I thought chis said he got the Sultans, trust me to get it wrong  :lol: Guess I've been listening to Dire Straits too much recently.. think I want some Sultans though!
