BKP for my EBMM Silhouette
« on: September 19, 2011, 07:28:19 PM »
Hello! My Music Man Silhouette (alder body, roasted mapple neck with ebony fretboard) have 2 Dimarzio PAF Pro and FS1 on middle position.
I play progressive and heavy metal with djent influences(dream theater, haunted shores, marco sfogli and periphery) and I think this PAF Pro very old sounding.. which BKP is recommend for solid but readable sound, bright harmonics and precise bass?

Thankssss, and sorry for my english

I'd highly recommend checking out the alnico Nailbomb in the bridge for the tones you've mentioned.
Are you looking to replace the middle and neck pickups too, or just the bridge?

The Cold Sweat neck is a very popular choice for those after a pickup that delivers a fluid and defined lead tone, and a clear, deep clean sound.

I concur with the CS for the neck. The Nailbomb would be a good choice for the bridge. For big fluid solotones you may also check out the Holy Diver.
