All parts do some slightly incorrect but nice looking Bumble Bee caps (the pictures aren't quite the same as what you get I'm told! The ones in th pics are great, just they're not the same)

Try RS guitarworks too. I quite like Mallory 150s. I don't like Sprague orange drops in anything too bright and brittle.

If you can find them, paper in oil caps are the most authentic I think, although I'm not an expert!

I'm installing a couple of Guitarcaps by Hovland. They are expensive but less than some "bumblebees" and I believe they sound better. I'm waiting for my new set of Stormy Mondays to givem a go.

I'll try to record something and post some clips soon!!!

They're taking liberties with their logo aren't they?

I've got no idea how capacitors affect tone, what exactly goes on with that?

the caps affect the tone because they bahave like a resisitor somehow. The material is going to affect the tone a little bit wether you use the tone pot or not.

BTW those sozo look really nice....

Bainzy has used them in his Plexi amp. I've got some to play with now!

Caps have characters, some are bright some warm some muddy......resistors have the same properties too.

HJM, let me know if you notice those Zoso caps changing tone as they're in the amp for a while - there has been alot of people saying they take some time to break-in while the die-electric forms.

I've only had this type of change happen with 'fast' caps, not with standard polyester caps though.
