One in Missouri, one in California as far as I can tell from the piece. The pic I posted is of the more beaten up one which was acquired from a band in Arkansas in the '70s apparently by the previous owner who sold it to David Hinson.

I'm surprised the tortoiseshell shows up so well over a black guitar, assuming the scratchplate's the normal single-layer translucent type.  Maybe they put a layer of something else underneath?

What should I say ? I've always wanted a LP DC (Jr or Special), and this black one is officially the most extreme hard-core guitar PrOn I've ever seen (sorry have to leave, need a very cooold bath right now :mrgreen:).

I was really tempted by your juniors when they where up for sale, Philly, but I really had strat GAS at that moment. Now that I have taken care of the strat affair the juniors are creeping back in. If you ever decide to sell some more (I'm pretty sure you got some) I'll be interested for sure  :D
