2 vol 1 tone but diff. caps from ea. vol to same tone ?

can i do that ? i have 2 vol 1 tone but want diff. cap for each pk. was going to take std 2 vol 2 tone schematic and just get rid of one tone and attached the cap now floating in space to  the same leg of existing tone/cap location.

get it ?

I have not tried it but I guess it should work. Just try it - the worst thing that can happen is that the sound with the tone control fully up changes slightly. And if you don't like it you can always put it back as it was.

If you do it please report about the results.

You will get bleed over between the caps. So no matter which position you put the switch in you will get some amount of bleed over from the "off" pickup
