Do Covered 7 String BKPS fit in Carvin Routing??
« on: July 19, 2012, 03:25:00 AM »
Hey guys, I just got a new Carvin DC700 in the mail and I have the set picked out that I want.

I wanted to pick the forum's brain on if anyone has heard of any issues with Carvin routing. I had DiMarzios installed in my other Carvin but they were open. I am concerned that a covered set will not fit in the standard Carvin routing so please let me know if you have heard anything!

Isn't the DC700 one of the active-pickup models?  I'd be more concerned that there would be a gap around the pickup in that case, unless you're planning to use a pickup-ring converter gadget.

the DC700 does have active pickups but I actually selected the passive route
