Hello all, new here but been a fan of BKPs for a while after Mike from Oceansize started raving about them.
I've got a BKP equipped HSS Strat but am now looking to change the pickups on my P90 equipped Squier Tele Custom because I love the guitar (the neck especially - which is nicer than some of the American Tele necks I've played for sure) but the pickups don't really suit what I want it for. They're pretty decent but not really suitable for heavy music and my new band are heading in a sort of math rock / post-hardcore direction, with the odd metallic bit, so I need P90s that don't crumble under loads of overdrive but are also good for cleans when needed.
My immediate thoughts, having looked at the site, are between the Supermassive and the 'Pig 90, leaning towards the latter. Can any players with experience of these please give me their thoughts? Thanks in advance :)
