I didn't know who that was.  I was thinking of Lee Aaron.

Think I saw her support Bon Jovi in 1985 at The Dominion theatre.

The gig where there was a power cut and JBJ started singing Tom Petty songs?

I don't remember Lee Aaron being the support act, but on the other hand if it wasn't her I don't remember who it was.

I certainly saw her headlining - at the Marquee, I think that was.

I quite like Phil X, but I do find Chappers really annoying.

Almost the opposite for me!

Phil X is incredibly annoying, but I don't actually like Chappers at all - which is unfair, he may be a very nice chap really.

I like it.  Kind of miss Lee Anderton, however.

This bloke?

Interesting listening to Lee Anderton talking about when his father opened the Andertons shop in the 60s. Today he reckons Andertons probably have about 100 Fenders in the shop and 300 in store. Back then his father used to wait on the docks with cash in his hand waiting for a a ship to arrive from the US in the hope he could buy perhaps one of six Fenders that were being imported and when he got back to his shop there would be a queue of guys waiting to buy it.
The non American guitars at that time were pretty sh*t. My first electric was a Futurama 2. The bridge was made of wood with some sort of non adjustable metal saddles wedged on top and the (very weak) pickups had pole pieces which were 'adjustable', not for height but could be slid along the pickups towards the neck or bridge. (I think they were made in Czechoslovakia).

I met Rob 'Chappers' when I bought the 245 from him. Nice guy although I did find it a bit questionable that he was slagging off a well known guitar manufacturer that at the time he had an endorsement deal with.
I think I hate being indecisive.

That Esquire is very nice looking indeed. The LP isn't too shabby either!!
