I'm new to pickups/electrics of guitars

- Do the pickups or pots come with wiring or do I have to replace the actual wires themselves?
- What hardware comes with the 250K CTS pots (5-way selector switch, jack plug in)?
- Which is best for slow hand pickups: BKP Custom Audio Taper 280K CTS standard shaft pot or 250K CTS with hardware?

- no wiring, unless you buy a prewired set/harness that some vendors might offer
- none - gotta buy everything separate
- seems to be more or less the same thing

If you are going from active pickups to passive - yes, it is a pain switching all the hardware, wiring it all AND grounding it all (don't forget about that!). It's one of the reasons I've decided I'll stick with my EMGs and not go for the new Black Hawk.
