How to fit a BKP/Jensen cap in Strat
« on: May 12, 2012, 06:11:42 AM »
Does anybody have a picture of how they fit a BKP/Jensen cap into a Strat wiring? It's such a huge cap and there's not a lot of room so I'm having a little trouble, and I don't want to experiment with it too much because I don't want the wires to snap from too much bending. Maybe that wouldn't happen and I'm just being paranoid, but the cap cost $20 and I don't want to buy another. Thanks

Here's mine, as wired by the chaps at BKP.  Sorry the picture's not 100% clear:

BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

I leave a little more length on the legs than normal, this allows for a little shifting around as you refit the plate :)
I wouldn't buy BKP,,,,,if Seymour Duncan kidnapped my family!
