Newbie here, obligatory pickup questions
« on: February 09, 2006, 07:39:07 PM »
Hi everyone, been a member of this site for a while, thought it was about time i got posted. My pickup question is as follows, can BKP rewind single coil/mini humbuckers, eg hotrails? I know Tim is not keen on them but i was wondering if a rewind would improve my JB Jnr i have lying around somewhere.
It's like, how much more black could this be? and the answer is none. None more black.

Yeah i had noticed in previous posts Tim was not too keen on hotrail types, i was just wondering if a re-wind is possible, and if it would improve the tone. If the improvement is minimal, then i will not bother.
