New neck pickup for Gibson Les Paul Studio P90
« on: May 28, 2012, 12:48:50 PM »
Hey guys,
need your help because I currently do not have that much experience with the Bare Knuckle P90 range.
I've got a Gibson LP Studio P90 and while I really like the sound of the bridge P90, the neck pickup is just lifeless, mushy and has way too much bass and output. I want something brighter, clearer and cleaner because I mostly play clean and crunchy stuff.

Would be great if you guys could help me out.
Cheers, Bastian

Have a look at the Nantucket. It's voiced like the late fifties, early sixties Gibson P90's.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

Thanks for your reply. I was also thinking about the nantucket, especially for the bridge position which I don't really need... but the Blue- and Half-Note also gathered my curiosity, does anyone have any experience with them?
