lol ok. LAST question i swear.... the wires soldered to the tags on the switch where there are two rows of three- is each wire soldered to both tags? its hard to explain but basically is there one column that goes green, orange, white and then an empty column of three next to that, OR is it two columns of green, orange, white if you see what i mean?

It actually makes no difference in this case!  There are really 2 switches there.  The green and orange make contact when the switch is up, white and orange when it is down.  So the orange is the common (or 'wiper' in a Strat switch).  As long as your wires are all to one side, it will work.  The other side is not used, but if you wired them across it would not make any difference.  You need the extras when you are wiring humbuckers for Series/Parallel switching.
