Hey guys I have had the Holy Diver set for a while and considering how awesome they are i'm pretty curious about the cold sweat necks cleans/leads vs the Holy divers as well as out of the aftermath, holy diver and painkiller bridges which is the most aggressive sounding and has the most defined tone under lots of gain and the most clarity.
Also could I order black battleworn covers for my pickups even though they are already installed? I don't like the purple/black look as much as I excepted.
the cold sweat and holy diver neck models have pretty close specs, the cold sweat being a bit overwound, like a bridge pickup, therefore, middier, hotter and a little less bright than the HD
the painkiller is supposedly a triple ceramic holy diver
it's a bit more mid spikey, upper mids are quite hairy and aggressive, low end feels a bit more narrow and it's a louder and harder sounding pickup
the aftermath is pretty close to the painkiller, but a bit more like the holy diver
it has the dry picking response of the painkiller, but the top is a bit cleaner like the holy diver and the mids are more centered like the diver as well
sounds just a little darker and more refined than the painkiller, which is more "wild" sounding
