Those replicas look so cool. I only got to play one for a minute or so but it was awesome.
Have not had the chance, but I watched the video showing off how precise those copies are...which is incredible, down to the tape and the neck shaped modiefied by use.

what's amazing about vai is that he makes it all look effortless!  he's playing the most extraordinary stuff, yet he makes it look like anyone should be able to do it

I saw the Vai Sex & Religion tour at Hammersmith. It was an amazing show that I'm sure I'll never forget. He's one of the few proper showmen left and an amazing guitarist. Devin Townsend was not too shabby, either!
