BKP Blackdog with Blackstar HT-1
« on: January 29, 2013, 09:55:42 PM »
Hey guys,

was fiddling around with my new blackstar HT-1 amp with the lineout and different dirt boxes, and decided to experiment with quad tracking as well, so here's the finished product :)

Signal Chain:

Schecter loomis-7 with black dog bridge
Tracks are hard panned left and right, all through a dyna comp and the HT-1 set just on the verge of breakup, then i use a home built BrownSoundInABox pedal, an MXR '78 custom badass distortion, a boss BD-2 and then the HT-1's own drive channel.

if you guys have any crits on the mixing and overall tone, i'd be happy to hear them

I just don't like Blackstar. Sounds decent though.

I rather like it for what it's built, especially with the easy to use line out, great for demos on the fly but with decent tone.

i have to toy around with the speaker output into a dummy load with my redwirez IR's... should be interesting :)
