I've been toying with getting a tremolo pedal for a while, mostly for rootsy, bluesy type wobble, wobble, wobble noises, and there are quite a few that had piqued my interest. To cut a long story short I ended up paying just shy of fifty quid for a Mooer Trelicopter. As well as being fairly cheap and sounding (to my ears) very good for the money it's also tiny, as you can see from the attached photo, so it nestles nicely on my pedal board without having to move anything, which is a plus.

I haven't tried any of their other pedals, but for the money, they seem really pretty decent. Happy so far. I'm now off to go and pretend to be Ry Cooder, only much more rubbish.

very nice. i haven't tried that one, but the ones i have are really very nice indeed for the money (aside from the fuzz face, which i suspect is faulty and would probably be fine if you got a non-faulty one). Shame the really cheap offers seem to have ended. :( I got the ones i really wanted but i wouldn't have minded a couple more had the deals still been available.

Very nice! I use a Carl Martin Trem-O-Vibe, which is dead silent and reliable, but a bit big.

I have a lot of love for the Mooer pedals, I think that they're terrific for the price.  I got a Muff clone a couple of months ago, and I've not turned it off since, it's awesome.

I've been toying with the idea of getting the Strymon Flint, but Strymon stuff just isn't cheap and I already got a TC Hall of Fame reverb so the Mooer tremolo might be worth checking out. And Congrats on the NPD  :D

My thoughts exactly. I love my El Capistan and I'm sure the Flint is a better, more flexible, pedal than the Trelicopter but I'm not sure it's 6x better right now. ;)

I'm totally with you. But I must admit that I've had at least one bad experience with a cheap pedal that was supposed to be good. It was the Danelectro "Chicken Salad" vibe pedal. A read some good reviews about it and thought it wouldn't hurt to buy one, but it was a real disapointment. It just sounded cheap and as plasticy as the enclosure it came in. So I'll have to try the Trelicopter before I buy it (which I guess should be the case in all guitar related deals  )

Great choice! Tremolo is a hugely underrated effect IMHO
