Really?  How would they sound compared to Alnico II, III and V in a Strat pickup?  I assuming less bright than Alnico V since you're using for maple necks...

Got it in one.......they're better balanced too and great for taming an overly bright Strat.I don't advertise an 'AIV' set,it's more of an 'on prescripton' type thing when I talk with a player and find out about their guitar/set up.
