Thinking about it, the finish starts to show it's age and is a bit dull and boring. What about a swirl refinish ?  :mrgreen:

While they're doing that, you might as well get the fretboard levelled off to 20" (it'll help with tapping, sweep picking etc).  And get stainless steel 6100 frets.

the semi acoustic design will surely lead to feedback with high gain playing. I would fill those cavities with expanding foam.
