Gretsch electromatic with p90's
« on: August 18, 2013, 02:59:29 PM »
I'm thinking of getting a 5420 and install P90's in it.  Does BKP have P90's that are high enough to fit?

I don't have experience with Gretsch, but a lot of those boxes like the ES295 were loaded with P90's, so height should not be a problem, I guess. I don't know if HB-sized P90's will fit in a 5420. I suggest to send BKP a mail or give them a ring.

give them a ring.

This is British English for 'give them a (phone) call' - but if you live far enough away to have not heard this before the cost and/or time difference may well be a factor!  :D

I used to be teased about this by my American ex-wife every time I said I was going to 'ring my parents' (back in Australia).  :(

I'm not British, but a huge fan of British comedy. It might have slipped that way in my vocabulary.  :)
Nah, just mail the lads at BKP.

Bravo, what did you put in the Gretsch? Neckpickup looks like a Duesenberg.
