Miracle Mans or Nailbombs for my Ibanez
« on: March 21, 2006, 01:08:01 AM »
I have an Ibanez RGT42, which has a mahogony body and a set neck.  I have a Randall RH200 head that I play through.  I don't want sooooo much distortion that my notes are all blurred together, but I still want like mega-awesome distortion.  Nothing weak (like my stock Infinity pickups).  My biggest sound influence is Lamb of God, but I want Pantera power too.  Clean sound isn't a big concern.  Pretty much, I want plenty of distortion but no loss of clarity, so single notes are well defined.

Help!

I'd suggest Miracle Man pickups.  Others might recommend other pups, but these ones will probably come up more often than not.

I ordered 2 miracle man pickups and a trilogy mid for my RT but they haven't arrived yet. I'll let you know how they sound when I get them installed.
