Hey everyone

I'm in the market for a set of Bareknuckles to put in my Schecter Omen 7 Extreme ( http://www.thomann.de/nl/schecter_omen_7_extreme_bch.htm ).
Mahogany body, flamed maple top, maple neck, rosewood fretboard, bolt-on neck.  Currently the neck pickup is stock, the bridge has a ceramic Warpig which i've got on loan from a friend, but it's about time i give it back to him :p

I'm not sure the Warpig is the best option for me, maybe a bit too bassy, not clear enough.  If i were to go for a calibrated set, the Juggernaut is by far my favorite, amazing clarity and definition, tho i can't seem to shake the feeling it might always sound a tad "djenty".  This might just be because of Misha's demo using his particular amp settings ofcourse.

I'm a very average bedroom-player, with an interest for homerecording.  I'd use the guitar almost exclusively with a Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 interface, and amp plugins such as Guitar Rig Pro 5 and Lepou sims.  Therefor i'd need pickups that are particularly wellsuited for DI-recording (not too hot, not too mellow), and that can compensate a bit for the limitations of amp-plugins (such as somewhat unconvincing lowend).  I don't need to drive a tube amp with them, i might potentially buy a Kemper later on.  Worth mentioning is that my go-to amps, be it on plugins or hardware profilers/sims, are the 5150 and Mark IV.

Bands i enjoy are, amongst others, Opeth, Katatonia, My Dying Bride, Amon Amarth, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Black Sun Aeon, Ghost Brigade, Feared, Keith Merrow, and from the djent-scene i especially dig the sparkling cleans from the likes of Tesseract.

So i mainly need a bridge pickup to handle that kinda work (maybe it's too versatile for 1 pickup, no idea), and in the neck something suitable for creamy leads (i have an E-bow lying around i intend to use more often).  Part of me hopes to one day bust out Slash-solo's :p

Eagerly awaiting expert advice, thanks in advance!

If you find the Juggernaut too "modern/djenty", the Miracle Man should work well in a mahogany guitar like the one you have. I think the Nailbomb might be too dark.

The other two options I could think of - but which I'm not familiar with - would be the Riff Raff, Cold Sweat and the Rebel Yell. Other forum members will probably share their views on those.
Current BKPs: Miracle Man, Nailbomb, Juggernaut, VHII
Past BKPS: Holy Diver, Trilogy Suite, Sinner, Black Dog

To me this seems like it might work with a RY/Em combo, especially with the 'creamy leads' comment.

Rebel bridge, Emerald neck i assume ?

My friend has a Rebel Yell in a 6 string, he likes it but says it's maybe missing a tad of oomph (mainly on palm mutes)

But i'll have a listen :)

I would go by how much bass you have in the instrument acoustically.  If it is a lot (e.g., like an Explorer) then a RY would be awesome.  If your guitar doesn't have much bass acoustically then avoid it in favour of something else, e.g., a Cold Sweat or Miracle Man.

RYs also prefer big gainy amps, like Peaveys, Mesas, and Soldanos.
