I.D. These Bare Knuckles?
« on: August 01, 2014, 02:43:22 AM »
Can somebody tell me what these pickups are.  Listen to the first song, which starts at 1:35.  The bridge pickup is used throughout, and the neck pickup is briefly used at 4:09.  The guitar is tuned to Drop A#.  If you've got time, the second song really shows off the neck pickup.  It's very round and clear, with a huge fat sound.  Given the two rows of screws and the types of screws, I think they are either Aftermaths or Warpigs.  I'm not sure if you can order other Bare Knuckles with this configuration and screw type (they are the little hex screws).

Thanks!  I've been trying to figure this out for a while.

At that time most likely they would have been Aftermath or Warpigs.

I have a set of alnico Warpigs but there are so many effects on the signal and the stuff he is playing is so different to what I played on them (mainly Sabbath style riffing) that I'm not sure.
