I think i've read it's the same as the RFT ECC83
If that's true, then there's a lot of info on those around the forums
I love the rft 83
Quite gainy, defined, punchy and even voiced

Mine were given to me by a friend who had them briefly in a tube preamp in a studio. The best thing about the preamp were the valves.... everything sounded great through this cheap Beringher preamp, largely due to the valves. Eventually I was given the preamp which stopped working. Saved the valves and I am so glad I did because they are great in the v2 position of my jtm45.

Currently the jtm45 sounds great using

V1 Mazda or Siemens ecc83
V2 Mullard ecc83
PI Phillips Jan 12AX7
POWER GEC KT66
Rectifier NOS GZ34

All into a closed back 2x12 cab with Tayden True Brits (Greenback clones).

GREAT set there ... and almost exactly what I run in my JMP clone amp, except I like a Telefunken ecc803 in the V2 slot, and of course EL34s in the power stage.

Fab!
In my case the Mazda provides the sparkle, the Mullard the slightly muted, chocolaty rich overtones ant the KT66s the creamy sounding muscle.
