Pulled the trigger/Signed the book of Red-Ordered a C-Hawk!

My RG2550 has been through Duncan Blackouts, Anderson HN3+ and now a Duncan Distortion.  Searching for the right bridge pickup is boring.  I'm not sure what neck pickup to pair it up with (maybe a Dimarzio PAF, as I don't have $170 for a bkp neck pickup).

I ordered it from Rainbow Guitars, have any fellow Yanks dealt with the likes of them?

The Black Hawks are very choosey but absolutely amazing in the right guitar. The purr they create with chords is addicting. I love them for leads too. Let us know how it works.

I'm more a rhythm guy.  I keep hearing that the C-hawk in a basswood guitar is great, especially with low tunings (I'm in B-standard). 

Define 'choosey'.  I've got a Ibby basswood Prestige with an Edge Pro (now with a brass block).

Choosey-It sounds very different in each guitar..think of it as a "really great pairing" or "not at all"..there is no in between. Ive never tried it in basswood but one could assume it would sound really good because basswood is very resonant and warm. I have just tried it in alder and Mahogany and it sounded great in both.
