Wait, you actually got some Juggs?  What guitar did you put it (them) in?  A very bright guitar, I hope.  I think the 'hollow mid' characteristic is partially a biproduct of the fact that a maple neck / basswood body guitar (Misha's preference) has a lot of highs with a huge midrange focus, so the pickup needs to phatten up the sound.

The thing I find really addictive about the pickups is the extremely musical feel and the responsiveness in general. They just feel 'right' to play, and they shine especially with my Electra Dyne, which is a very mid focused amp.  The guitar they are in is a fairly bright but balanced sounding superstrat while the Rebel Yell I have is in a very dark solid mahogany axe.  That Rebel Yell bridge pickup is marvelous in a dark and phat sounding axe, something that provides body and girth to the high mid focused sound.   Funny thing, that was the exact pickup I was recording when I was sending you demos of the BKP stuff over on the Boogie Board.  TONNES of clarity, even under extreme gain, and the harmonic sheen is just brilliant.  It's very bright and open without being trebly or ice picky, which is really nice!
