Hi guys, I am standing in front of question how install VHII in bridge position on my Strat with two SC (Sultans). I ave got a few questions about VHII pickup:
1 - should be VHII placed in the way that coil with screws is close to the tremolo
2 - what color wires are assigned to which coil
3 - can I use any of those two coils in split-coil-mode
4 - I have noticed that most of coil splitting engage coil which is closer to middle pickup. Why not the one which is closer to tremolo like in classic SC situation, it seems to be more logical.
5 - should I assign second volume pot to VHII to keep volume balance between Sultans and VHII. Otherwise I will go for classic V,T,T control
... I have 5-way switch and three 500K pots (one with push-push switch). Middle position SC has reversed polarity. Can anybody also help me with specific wiring diagram for my requirement. Thanks a lot.
