Ok Kid's, I finally got the mofo installed in my Les Paul.
Right, my first impression is to my ear's it sound's like a cross
between and EMG 81 and a Duncan JB.

Has has the gain/attack/hostility of the 81 with the Warmth/fullness of the JB.

I'm very happy with it so far, because it doesn't have the honky
mid-range spike like the JB. The bass on it is very tight and "round"
comes to mind.

Very organic, like described. It has a lot of gain, and mine is
slightly underwound (as requested).
I normally have the edge button engaged on my VHT UL with my guitars,
but with this guitar, I have the edge turned off.

It's very balanced too, and it doesn't have that harsh character like
the 81. I'm tuned down really low to Drop B, and the articulation is
still there.

I would say it's a great compromise between the EMG 81/JB, it has the
best of both worlds, and then some

Warpig a compromise? I wouldn't call it that but I know what you mean.

Has anyone seen Feline's new Gothic SG with Warpigs? I'd love a soundclip of that.

I'm hitting the studio next month hopefully. I'm finishing mixing for drums from my first song right now. So I will post a clip ASAP.
