Misha Mansoor wiring

Hello!

I heard Misha's Jackson has a switch so when running with coil splits he can choose between the A5 or ceramic halves of the juggernauts for the split. Anyone got a diagram/link for the wiring scheme?

The Juggerbridge has a centre Alnico V magnet with ceramic flankers.

The Wiring Misha uses is a 5 way switch running Neck, Neck & Bridge, and Bridge pup in 1, 3, & 5.
For 2 & 4, it's inner & outer coils.

Yeah, I'm not sure that's entirely what I wanted to do as I'd like just neck single too probably. I might just invent my own switching or browse some other diagrams.

Still pondering if I should just put another nail bomb in here anyway along with a nail bomb neck or something else like a VH-II and if these are too "metal" for me. Hmmm I can never decide. Thanks for your help anyway.

I believe I have achieved something close to this with a 3-way switch & a push pull tone knob. Knob pushed in does the regular Neck, Combo, Bridge & when the knob is out I get the outside coils on the neck, combo, and bridge. I am unsure if its possible to get outside/inside with just the 3-way & push pull knob but if there is I would love to try it out.

It would definitely be fun to try out some wirings with Juggernauts.  Push Pull series / parallel HMBs would be really cool.  Not sure how that would play with my current wiring scheme though...

They are definitely Metal, lol. If it helps any though, the cleans can sound beautiful. I have them in my 7 string Jackson Dinky & when I am not djenting with it at the house I actually use it at church during the service Haha!

They're very musical pickups and they can turn aggressive when played hard.  I wouldn't say that they are any more metal than the Nailbomb but the voice is decidedly different:  It's smoother and darker with more of an emphasis on the mids to low mids.  A great match for a brighter instrument.  The feel of the pickups is buttery and quite compressed while under high gain.  They're still articulate and clear with a defined attack, but the lead playing is ideal for a modern approach.  They also handle drop tuning really well.  The low range is so delicious that I wish I had gotten a 7 string to begin with!

A-Bomb is brighter, gnarly, and really pissed off.
