The Abraxas set indeed offers some very cool split tones on both pickups. My Tele Gib with this set is set up with an Eyb Megawitch type E for

#1 bridge humbucker
#2 bridge split (neckside coil)
#3 bridge bridgeside coil + neck neckside coil (this one captures that tele middle position tone really well)
#4 neck split (neckside coil)
#5 neck humbucker

All very good and useable tones - makes for an ultra versatile guitar.

The Abraxas set is the first set of humbuckers in this guitar before it was converted to a dual humbucker set up. It is rare that I am satisfied with the first set of pickups to go in any guitar but in this case - yes ... I have no desire to change them for something else.

Cheers Stephan
