Les Paul Custom 57 reissue

Just got one, it's lush but the pups have got to go. I'm thinking Stormy Mondays for the 57 flavour and to lighten-up what is a slightly dark guitar.
Any other opinions?
Also, when I order online, how do I know whether I need long ir short screws?

Yeah, if you want that vintage PAF sound that's the set I would go for in a dark guitar.

I sense that you've pretty much settled on Stormies, for a good reason. They are classic PAF's en will open up a darker Les Paul.
Two other options would be PB Blues and RiffRaffs. Mules are fantastic too, but you might want a little more crisp neckpickup like the RR- or SM-neck.
