‘63 vs ‘59 vs Apache?
« on: January 14, 2018, 11:30:09 PM »
I currently have a set of ‘63 veneers in my main strat and i love them.
I just bought a Robert Cray strat and am torn between the ‘59s and the Apaches for that guitar.
I am wondering which of these two pickups are closest to the ‘63s in output.
I ask because I want something different but at the same time I am hoping the outputs or perceived output will be similar so when playing live and switching betwen the two guitars I won’t have a huge volume difference.
Any input appreciated!

The 59's. Are closest in tone too.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.
