Which pups for my 8 String custom build???

Hey there guys just made an account to gather oppinions. So within the next three months I知 getting my chapman 8 string rebuilt to my specs and I知 going BKP. My current choice is Aftermath bridge, Painkiller neck. I知 going to have a three way switch replace my tone pot so I can switch between normal humbucking / neck coil split / both coil split. Since I知 a big fan of the coil split tone and I feel like I知 missing out on the thump of full humbucking chugs so I want to be able to combine both and have versatility. I guess if you could put an artist name to the sounds I知 after it would be Tesseract and Animals as Leaders, I need good cleans when split, really good spanky high gain tones when split and the rest I知 not worried about since that is to be expected from these pups. So my main questions is HOW DO THE AFTERMATH AND PAINKILLER SOUND COIL SPLIT? - and what are the cleans like? lastly if there are any other recommendations for pups that would suit let me know, thxs in advance!

What are the specs of the guitar in question?

Also, why a three way? Why not go the whole way and get a 5 way, so you can get neck hum, neck split, both (or both split), bridge split, bridge hum. Or even a three way with the usual neck both bridge, and a push pull/ push push, or even a regular mini switch to switch it over?
Many ways to go about it, and keep the regular switching system, so you're not sacrificing options

i forgot to mention the specs of the guitar was trying to keep the post minimal. I already have a three way switch for pickup selection on the guitar but I am adding a three way toggle switch in replacement of the tone pot. Currently the guitar has a push pull tone pot for coil split but splits all pups when engaged. The guitar has a mahogany thru neck and swamp ash wings. I also use alternate tunings mainly double drop Eadd9 which goes right down to a low E from the standard F#. Works fine with my current set up but I'm going all out rebuild with a company called crimson guitars in Dorset and want it perfect. Does Anyone have experience with splitting the pickups in question?

Ahh, I get you. That'll definitely be an interesting method of splitting.
As for crimson, good choice. Those guys are definitely pretty great
